From the Rose Road website:

Since 2018, We have been researching soil, field, environment, weather and culture to provide insight into fragrance.

Working in partnership with startups in Morocco and Turkey.

After many years of research, we realized that there was a need for not only sustainability, but also to support the lives and cultures of local farmers.

We had the opportunity to chat with Miyoko about her work and inspiration. See her answers to a few questions below.

Q: After years working in IT, you returned to your aromatherapeutic roots and began Rose Road. Can you tell us a bit about the dreams that inspired you and your mission?

A: When I entered the rose fields of Morocco, I was taught that everything is circulation.

I realized that love and the fragrance of the Rose are connected for me, and that it is my job to carry the life of the Rose.

Q: Rose Road is committed to sustainability and supporting the lives and cultures of your  local farmer partners. There have been multiple disastrous natural catastrophes in Turkey that harmed many people. Can you tell us how your friends and their roses are doing? Have they been impacted by the disasters, and is there a way to support them?

A: They had no closed friends involved in the disasters, but people in their community did. They tell me, this region rose is not effected too much.

Normally, Their farmers are located in same region and picking their own roses themselves.

Q: Can you please share a bit about your relationship with the Goddess Venus, and how she influences Rose Road?

Ever since having been to Cyprus, the birthplace of Venus. My intuition always comes from Venus and Rose. It seems I am always being asked about love.

Q: Through magical means, Bramble was teleported to Tokyo: care to share your impressions from meeting her? ;)

I can imagine  the Goddess Venus  enjoying a spring wine celebration in the temple. A spring breeze seems to bless  the Goddess Venus  with scents of berries and woods. I can feel the green glow as well. The clean, elegant powdery scent is as gentle as fine silk.

This Bramble perfume floats in the air as a being with a consciousness.
