Herbcraft Perfumery uses natural (absolutes, CO2 extractions, concretes, essential oils, floral waters, resins, tinctures, etc.), man-made (synthesized molecules isolated from plant and petroleum by-product sources, some using sustainable technologies) materials and plant-derived alcohol to create our fragrances. We source our ingredients from the most sustainable suppliers available to us, and buy directly from farms and agricultural community-oriented organizations whenever possible. We believe in science, and that fear does not make ethical marketing. We follow the guidance of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) in regards to safety in fragrance formulation and ingredient-selection.

Because the purpose of Herbcraft Perfumery is to honor the natural world, Herbcraft Perfumery is committed to not using materials from species listed as vulnerable, near-threatened, endangered, critically-endangered or extinct in the wild by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species™, CITES or other organizations.
